Bangalore has changed much. It has become dusty and noisy from the last time I was here. That was 8 years back.

My love affair with this beautiful garden city began when I was only 13 years old. After my repeated annual visits, I always left like there was more to see.

And after our long break, I can say we’re going as strong as we used to. The city’s great vibe and the easy conversations with people here has been everlasting. I’ve often been told that the city is not the same, but isn’t that true for every place in the world? I love it with all its flaws- with the dust, the noise, the traffic. I respect it even more for the beautiful parks, the numerous residents walking and cycling, the cool ones who work hard and party harder and the scrumptious food across the breadth of the city.

Even though every place changes, I have my reservations to how many of them age as charmingly as Bangalore.

  1. I used to go to Bangalore as a kid. I went after a gap of almost 10 years. It was a new place altogether.
I have the fondest memories there!
