As I departed for Chandigarh airport from Kandaghat, we stopped by Mohan Shakti Heritage Park. The park was about 20 kilometres away from Kandaghat which took us roughly an hour.
The premises is spread over 40 acres and has a cafeteria and washrooms. The area is being developed with Ayurvedic centre currently. This space is essentially a Hindu theme park with sculptures of most eminent Hindu religious and mythological characters. As I walked into the vast premises, the outdoor space was marked with numerous statues. These were arbitrary and included Shiva, African elephants, antelopes and other animals.
Marble dominated the interiors of the temple and they have been etched with beautiful flower motifs. I walked into the silent space with Hindu chants being narrated by the pandits in the temple. Here there were well-labelled statues of everyone from Santhoshi Ma, Shiv Lingam, Ganesh, Kali, Jaya-Vijaya, and many more.
Photography was not permitted inside the building. These photographs are what I could gather from its exterior beauty.

wish we could had photographs from inside too. At times these laws really deter us from sharing our experiences to the entire world
