Singapore was a destination I only read about until earlier this month when I finally reached here. This island nation has been my introductory step into South East Asia and my first impressions are only of amazement and wonder.

Singapore is a typical well-developed city with larger than life skylines. Its residents keep their corporate jobs by the day and by night, unwind at a local bar or club. Mornings and evenings are usually for fitness enthusiasts (and I am so inspired by the number of people cycling through the city!) The streets are safe and clean, and public transport is convenient and available throughout.

Well planned roads, plethora of shopping and eating out options, dedicated theme and outdoor parks, great nightlife, strict law and order- all aspects of an organised country, I am quite in awe of this rather expensive yet convenient island country. Here are some images from my first four days in Singapore.
